Hi! I’m Jack. My birth name is Tom Smith but I professionally use ‘Jack Arthur’ for credits and such. I’m a film student from Bristol.

I love watching films and playing guitar – especially in my band at venues around Bristol. My dream is write and direct films, but at the moment I’ve been really interested in sound, as I feel it combines my passion for music and film.

I love foreign cinema, in particular from the French New Wave era. I’d consider myself quite a romantic, and I guess it comes from watching all the existential ‘what is love’ Eric Rohmer and Jean-Luc Godard films!
